He made his first film appearance as Zaid in the 2018 romance film Laila Majnu, starring Avinash Tiwary and Tripti Dimri.
Alongside Shruti Sharma and Sonali Naik, Abrar Qazi co-starred as Raghunath “Raghu” Jadhav (Savitri and Bharat’s son who is Dhanak’s husband and Raunak’s father) in the Colors TV romantic action drama series Gathbandhan in 2019.
In 2019, he started playing the role of a rockstar named Rudraksh “Rudra” Khurana in the Hindi-language drama television series Yeh Hai Chahatein. For this performance, Abrar Qazi received the Garv Television Honour for “Most Entertaining Actor” as well as was nominated in the “Best Actor in Lead Role (Popular)” category at the Indian Television Academy Awards.
He brought to life the character of Kareem Bhat (an anti-national student) in the 1st season of the spy thriller streaming television series The Family Man in 2019.
