Early years
Capaldi was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and lived there until he was 4 years old. Capaldi has roots in Scotland, Ireland, and Italy. He is the fourth and last child. Capaldi said that he was canceling all of his upcoming shows so that he could work on his second album, Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent.
